Special Day Book Club

Dear Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Friends!

How would you like to participate in an exciting way to honor your child on a special day? The French Valley Elementary School Special Day Book Club is a sure way to celebrate an important day in your child’s life as well as reaffirm the importance of reading.

During the month of your child’s special day, donate a book in your child’s name. A Special Day Book Club donation label with your child’s name will be placed on the book’s inside cover. Also, he or she will be presented with recognition at Friday Flag salute as well as in the library.
Special Day Book Club Guidelines
  • Please take your child to any local bookstore to purchase a book of their choice that is appropriate to their age, reading level, and possibly, their special day.
  • Hardcover books are preferred so that they may treasure the book even longer, but paperbacks are fine too!
  • Please bring the book to school and give it to our school librarian. No form is necessary. Just let the librarian know which month you would like the book to be donated.
